Interests
My library-related interests are about special libraries (although we're all special!) and research libraries. I'd love to one day be in charge of a collection small and interesting enough to really get my head around and get people excited about. Sounds broad, but that's what I think training to be a librarian is all about!
I'm also interested in how social media can change people's perceptions of libraries and librarians. These kind of devices give us a voice so we should use them to set the stage for the information-heavy world we live in now!
Favorite Music
Sweet soul music! I can usually be found rooting through vinyl bargain bins for Otis Redding, Nina Simone, Aretha Franklin, Bob Dylan, Iron & Wine, Joni Mitchell.. I'm going to stop here!
Favorite Movies
I studied film and television studies at UEA, so this could be a long answer. I'm going to keep it short and say that seeing Road to Perdition made me want to study film.
