The day

As well as workshops participants were treated to 6 fantastic presentations from a range of wonderful speakers. There was a vote for the 'best paper' of the day and that went to Naomi Herbert and Katie Birkwood for Teaching old books new tricks: how special collections outreach can help you, your career, and your library. They received and a bottle of champagne kindly sponsored by
Sue Hill Recruitment and CILIP Past President Biddy Fisher presenting the prize.
Run ner up Megan Wiley was also recognised for For your eyes only: The need to develop professionalism in a careers information team
All of the presentations will eventually be available on the Career Development Group Slideshare.
