General About Me I am currently working as a library assistant at University of Glasgow Library, in Special Collections as my day job and also work evenings and occasional weekends on the Lending desk. Have just finished the taught component of the MSc at Strathclyde, which I studied part-time while working, and have just started my dissertation, with plans to graduate next summer.
I am one of two copyeditors on the Journal of Information Literacy (http://www.informationliteracy.org.uk/jil.aspx) and also recently took on the role of Newsletter Editor/Publicity Officer for CDG Scotland. So will no doubt be looking for contributions from some of you lovely people
I am a new professional but not exactly young... I was a journalist for around a decade, working as a freelance writer and trade sub-editor in London. When I returned to Scotland, I spent a couple of years as a charity press officer, bookseller and comms volunteer for Friends of the Earth in Edinburgh.
